Monday Updates 9/8/14

So I've been working a lot. We are in desperate need of more associates at the store, so the ones that we have are being depended on a lot. I literally worked at least 6 hours each day this weekend (Friday-Sunday) and that is not normal. I used to get like maybe 4 hours if I got lucky, and I definitely wouldn't work that much 3 days in a row. I'm not complaining, really. I'm just not used to it. (and honestly I could use the money)

I'm going to be starting rehearsals for a show this week. I'm going to be the assistant stage manager for an all-female version of Hamlet. So this will be interesting and fun. It's the first professional show that I've done that is actually going to be a play for grown-ups. Last year, I was working with a program called Theatre for the Very Young. We did shows for kids 18 months to 5 years. I'm really excited to be doing a full-length show with some depth to it again. I'm also really excited for the rehearsal process that comes with doing a more intense play.
