So I've had a pretty good week as far as reading is concerned. I read two books: The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson and The Six by K.B. Hoyle. I've been participating in the Read Your Bookshelf A Thon and I'm starting the #AYEARATHON read-a-thon this week. I really like doing read-a-thons because I always end up reading a lot and it sort of a challenge to read more.
Other than reading, rehearsal has been going well. We start tech today and we open on Thursday this week. It's all coming together and it's really exciting.
In other news, my car broke down on Saturday night on my way to work. Yay! It didn't do the stop moving thing, the check engine light went on and the car started to shake violently so I chose not to go any further. And then yesterday, my dad's car broke down when he was driving back from picking up my mom at the airport. So now we currently are sharing 1 car between the three of us! My parents rented a car, which will make it a lot easier, but it will make my mom get stuck at home a lot this week. They've already looked at my car and it needs a major engine overhaul and new brakes...so $2000. Super exciting.
