What's on My Nook?

So I am one of those people who has an e-reader but really prefers having books. But there are certain books that I do buy on my Nook and these are those books.

First, I'll tell you what Nook I have and why I chose Nook. I have the Nook GlowLight. It is basically nearly the most basic one I could get. I already had an iPad when I went to buy my Nook, so I didn't need to buy another big tablet. I wanted the Nook because it's a lot lighter and easier to read on than my iPad is. I wanted to have the GlowLight so that I could read wherever and not have to worry about getting seen. I chose Nook because I wanted to support Barnes & Noble as a bookseller rather than getting a Kindle from Amazon. I feel like it's good to support a bookseller rather than this huge online company. Also, I liked that I could go into the Barnes & Noble and try it out and make sure that it was the one that I wanted.

So on to the books:

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen - I got this one because it was $.99 and it seemed to be a good price for a classic e-book. If I start to really enjoy Jane Austen's books, I will buy hard copies of them to have in my library. I haven't read this book yet though.

Eat to Lose, Eat to Win by Rachel Beller - I think this was in the bargain section when I bought it originally. It's actually really interesting. It is a diet book, but it tells more about why you should eat certain things and what is really in the food you're eating. There's chapters on why you should snack, recipes for every time of day, and there's shopping lists for when you go to the grocery store.

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott - This was actually free at one point, I think. I got it for that reason, and because I used to love the movie.

I Heart New York by Lindsey Kelk - This is a novel about a girl from the UK who is going through a bad breakup. She runs away from her home and her life and goes to New York City to find herself. This was a really entertaining read. I liked that it was short and easy to read.

Coco Chanel: The Legend and the Life by Justine Picardie - No idea. It was cheap and I am fascinated by Coco Chanel.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by JK Rowling - I wanted to reread the series but my copies of the books are all falling apart so it's getting hard to read them. And if you need a synopsis of Harry Potter, where have you been?

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by JK Rowling - I'm about halfway through this one. I just need to get around to finishing it.

The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling) - I bought this version when it first came out. I'll eventually buy a hard copy and I'll eventually read it.

Dracula by Bram Stoker - I think it was another that was free or something. I'm not quite sure why I got it seeing as it's not really my type of book. oh well.

Well those are all the books I have on my Nook. I imagine that I'll eventually get some more. I'll probably get the rest of the Harry Potter series and probably the rest of the series by Lindsey Kelk and maybe even some more classics. I know it's not a lot but I do greatly prefer reading physical copies of books.
